Its really freaking obvious….

Even though its only the wig so far .. I have begun progress on Kouha Ren from Magi. 

Im super happy about how the color of this wig came out. If only it would look as good in crappy photos from my computer. 

Anywaysssss ~~~ I will be posting progress on kouha , Judal and the commissions I have gotten !

When a Convention is coming up

Other people : 

Me: 

” You’re a girl you can’t possibly like comi-“ 

” You can’t cosplay that character! You haven’t read the Comics” 

” You’re not a true fan if you haven’t read the comics. You have only seen the movies.”

” You shouldn’t cosplay that character, you wouldn’t look good”

Listen. These kinds of things need to stop. I am sure many have gotten one of these at least once.  It shouldn’t matter what gender you are to enjoy something you love. So why should we all just enjoy something for once…..

You can cosplay whoever you want. It doesn’t matter if you havent read all 5-billon comic books about that character that includes their story or so many other side stories. You love that character? You want to cosplay them ? Go on ahead. 

Its not a hobby or competition. Enjoy yourself. 

Who cares if you have only seen the movies. You are still a fan of that character. 

I get it. Not many people can afford to buy the comics. It gets REALLY expensive for first time fans to get into the comics.

Its usually around 20-40 dollars to even get into the storyline of comics. 

Issues can cost from $2.99 to $50+

Thats really expensive and not everyone can afford it.  

Also if anyone tells you that you can’t cosplay a character because they don’t think you will look good enough then who cares?! Its not them who is cosplaying it. You are. You are the one who wants to be that character. So do it. 

There will always be people telling you what you can and cannot do in life. You are the one who chooses if you want to or not. 

If you want to do it. Then do it ! 

If you like something then who cares what others say ! 

Its your life. Not theirs.
